Dynamic vacuum system

Ingeniously simple

A small system with great effect

The dynamic vacuum system is barely visible between the residual limb and the socket. Even though it is very small, it has a huge effect on how the prosthesis fits your body. And on how the prosthesis feels for you.

The dynamic vacuum system produces an active vacuum in the socket, keeping the prosthesis securely in place at all times. The vacuum dynamically adapts to your walking speed: It increases when you walk faster. This is intended to ensure that the vacuum always feels comfortable for you.

The dynamic vacuum system supports you in all kinds of everyday situations, from playing with the kids to a busy day at work.

Dynamic vacuum system liner

This liner protects your residual limb and is gentle on the skin. It connects magnetically to the system, making it easier to put on the prosthesis.

Magnetic connection

The piston of the dynamic vacuum system connects to the liner with a magnet, making the prosthesis easy to put on.

Protected against dirt

The dynamic vacuum system is completely sealed to prevent dirt from penetrating.

Benefits at a glance

Easy to handle

Your certified prosthetist can easily integrate the dynamic vacuum system into your socket. Then all you need to do is put on the dynamic vacuum liner, slide into the socket, roll up the sealing sleeve and start walking.

Active vacuum

Thanks to the permanent vacuum, the prosthesis is always held securely on the residual limb while walking. This improves stability when walking. You also have a better feel for the ground and your movements.

The vacuum dynamically adapts to your walking speed. When you walk faster, the vacuum increases. This makes the dynamic vacuum system suitable for many different everyday situations – for example when you have to hurry in order to catch the bus.

Small size

Thanks to the low weight of 210 g and the low system height of 37 mm, your certified prosthetist can integrate the dynamic vacuum system into the prosthesis system with very good cosmetic results.

As soon as you step into the prosthetic socket, a magnetic connection is established between the liner and the dynamic vacuum system integrated into the socket. Walking creates a pressure difference and therefore a flow of air from the socket to the dynamic vacuum system. This air is expelled to the outside when you step down. After just a few steps you generate a permanent vacuum – matched to your walking speed. Your prosthesis fits securely.
