Liners in the Skeo range

Targeted stabilisation and compression of residual limbs with a lot of soft tissue

The liner is an often underestimated element in the connection between the residual limb and prosthesis. Choosing the right liner can have a tremendous influence on the level of comfort while wearing. With the liners in the Skeo product range for the thigh and lower leg, residual limbs with heavy soft tissue coverage can be stabilised. This is due to the special properties of silicone. The material is very durable and easy to clean.

Depending on the model, Skeo liners feature a slick textile or silky-smooth outer coating that makes it easy to put on and take off the liner, and to step into the prosthetic socket. The skin-friendly textured inner side ensures good prosthetic suspension without sticking or chafing.

6Y41/6Y43 Skeo Pure – stabilisation during wear, transparent for fast checking

The difference is clear. Thanks to its transparency, the Skeo Pure makes it easier to visually check the fit and skin condition, for example in case of interim fittings. Its silky-smooth exterior makes it easy to put on and take off the prosthesis without donning spray. The quick-drying liner with no exterior textile is predestined for bathing and swimming prostheses.

6Y75/6Y85 Skeo Skinguard – stabilisation during wear, antibacterial against odours

For a noticeably hygienic feel. The Skeo Skinguard lower leg liner contains an antibacterial additive that effectively reduces the growth of bacteria due to perspiration – by 99.9 per cent! This alleviates unpleasant odours and protects the liner material.

6Y77/6Y78 Skeo 3D (TT) – anatomical shape for enhanced comfort

Thanks to different material thicknesses, the Skeo 3D lower leg liner anatomically adapts to the residual limb – without wrinkles and pressure points. It protects sensitive areas with a wall thickness of 7 mm and facilitates greater flexibility with thinner liner zones. The Skeo 3D is pre-flexed in the area of the knee, making it easier to bend the knee. The matrix height that can be chosen according to the residual limb length prevents linear expansion of the liner.

6Y87/6Y88 Skeo 3D (TF) – stabilisation during wear, anatomically shaped for enhanced comfort

Perfectly fitting shape: The Skeo 3D thigh liner tapers conically in the distal region, so that sensitive soft tissue is gently enveloped and not constricted or displaced. The upper section of the liner is cylindrical in shape, reliably enclosing the residual limb. The continuous matrix counteracts linear expansion of the liner.

6Y110 Skeo Sealing – stabilisation while wearing, with sealing ring for reliable vacuum

Sealed. Done. The Skeo Sealing liner makes prosthesis wearers more independent: The durable sealing ring (available in 10 cm or 17 cm height) reliably maintains the vacuum in the socket. It is especially easy to handle thanks to the silky surface with no exterior textile. That saves time while cleaning and drying as well as putting on and taking off – with no auxiliary means. What's more, the Skinguard antibacterial additive reduces the growth of bacteria due to perspiration and therefore the formation of unpleasant odours.
